I imagine Ryan Evans‘ The Rules of a Gentleman may, at one point, overlap slightly with the fantastic 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son (previously). I’m fine with that. I’m also fine with this one getting a book deal, too.

Unless other people are informed by what the speaker is communicating. Then you kind of have a duty to correct.

I have to agree that belt and shoes should match. For everything else I’m at a complete loss. The belt buckle should match one’s cufflinks/watch, right?

Very situation dependent, I would say. I can think of situations where I would only want correction in public and private.
